let is snow.....

Well, as expected the weather was cold and wet but, not as bad as they said.  I did take advantage of the time and worked on some new lamps:

This is before I get started decorating, I burnish the clay so the slip will sit nicely on the surface.

and, here we are after the glaze and etching is done.

I do not have a huge plan when I start and this piece definitely shows it, I was hoping to etch a lot of work on this one and ended up stopping, I kinda like the simplicity of this......
